Tbt #2: Bridget Bliss

I have a fascination with twins. I think it stemmed from too many Sweet Valley High books as a kid, plus the fact I never really knew anyone who was a twin (it is easy to romanticize something that has never been encountered). So they are a theme that I often visited. Real often.

Bridget Bliss is one of a set of twins I drew. I think they had a mother and maybe- ok I just checked. I didn't save any extended family for this character, not even her twin sister. I guess she's lone in this (make believe) world now, because I don't even remember anything else about her twin or family.

For Bridget's redraw I wanted to keep her personality a part of the drawing and this character was very shy and demure. I think the only reason I saved her (and it has been about twelve years, give or take, since I made the binder and tossed the rest) was because I liked the dress, maybe? I'm not sure. I think I just really liked the character because the design is a bit dull.

Regardless of why I saved her one solid truth remains captured within this drawing for eternity: Block lettering is really bitchin' when you're thirteen years old.

Art tips: Everyone loves hands that resemble Pillsbury biscuit dough. Draw some today!
