Introducing . . .

Shhhhhhhhhhhh . . . this isn't an official launch.

BUT. You can now find my work for sale at AccidentallyAwesomeArt.com. Woooo! Fancy!

Because of this blogs are going to be done differently here now. This blog is going more personal while my business' site blog will be more about my products and art stuff. It will be more visual, and this blog will be more about the written word from now on.

Because of this, some projects may only be linked here or mentioned in weekly update posts. However, the trade off is this site will now host essays, stories, poems, and possibly work from other contributors (what?!). The tone going forward will also be more of a mixed bag- some serious pieces, some fiction, some funny stuff like more reviews and comics.

Here is the first intro blog post for the new site- it outlines the journey of my business so far and talks a little about the big-ass move I just made. Check out the excerpt here and read the rest on my new site:

"This is Haley N., creator of Accidentally Awesome and designer of every product found on this website. I'm also the assembler, packager, copywriter, and mail jockey, etc, etc.

I'm basically a one woman arts and crafts machine.

My business has been through many rebirths since its founding in 2012. First came a brick and mortar endeavour with my then business partner (and still Dad) Martin Newman in Van Buren Arkansas. We were the weird kids on a block full of country-crafts and antiques vendors. So, needless to say, that didn't last long.

Accidentally Awesome came back (in Pog form!) in early 2015 after a long hiatus, with more polished works, more drawings/digital art, and much (MUCH) better photography.  Using Etsy as my platform of choice I focused more on the crafts side of my arts and crafts and got origami star making down to  science.

However, mid-last year my husband and I (along with my parents) decided to make a huge life change . . . ."
