First off, happy 4th of July to my fellow Americans! Usually I remain submerged in water for the entirety of this holiday, only popping a hand out to occasionally receive a fresh beer. Sadly, due to scheduling, that won't be happening for the first time in many years but regardless I hope everyone else has a safe and fun time.
Project updates:
TBTs: working on it
Dollhouse: Husband has very limited free time and I need his special skill set for the next part of the project. Therefore, the next update will probably be in about a week and a half.
Comics: There may not be a comic this week, but there will be one for the second week of July.
Tasteful Nerdity: I am busting with stuff to write about but I haven't had the time this week.
Other things: Yeah, I have other stuff in the works but again, no time.
Why is there no time??? Well, the past couple weeks I've been focusing on getting my origami and Etsy business stuff under control, as well as organizing and familiarizing myself with Ebay. This has involved learning how to make a database to record inventory, making charts, weighing, photographing, and pricing a shit-ton of tiny items (like beads), etc etc.
This work is VERY time consuming and VERY tedious. On the plus side, I think I have gotten things closer to where I want them to be. If you are reading this, check out this listing and tell me what you think: Origami Star Ordering Guide. You can message me on etsy or leave a comment here. I am desperately in need of feedback!
Are my charts clear and understandable? Is it too much info? Are there typos? On the page are also links to my other new listings. Check them out too. Are they less overwhelming? Are the descriptions clear? Do you understand my process and what you are getting? OOOOOOF. So much info.
You can also check out my Ebay lots under the name Basil989. I'm selling beads, buttons, and other crafting items. Auctions begin and end on Sundays. Bidding starts at 25 cents. Check it out!

It's a good feeling getting my business stuff under control, especially because in the future my ability to actually earn money for my family is going to become very, very important (ooo, ominous).
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for what comes next. ;)
